Conservatives Outraged at Soros Vote-Buying Scheme

9 March 2014 | Filed under: Political Commentary and tagged with: Citizens United, Darrell Issa, George Soros, IRS investigation, satire

An explosive expose by the Chicago Ledger has uncovered a scheme by left-wing scalawag George Soros to surreptitiously influence election results. Under cover of Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Service code which allows organizations engaging in social welfare activities to maintain tax exempt status and protect the anonymity of donors, George Soros has been giving millions to the group Americans for a Progressive Tomorrow (APT) which is far from a social welfare organization and is instead using this anonymous money to support fellow left-wing politicians and political organizations in its attempt to unduly influence the outcome of elections in several states, including Arizona and Texas.

Pushing the envelope on the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission which ruled that corporations are people, Soros and his cronies have established the APT as a bread basket of cash to be used not for social welfare purposes but for the brazen support of left-wing politicians running for political office. Use of a 501(c)(4) organization for such clearly political activities is a truly radical break from the way such organizations have previously comported themselves, and we will not rest easy until the IRS investigates them and any other organizations whose names might indicate that George Soros is involved, and revokes their status as tax-exempt and allowed to maintain the anonymity of their donors.

Why should we be concerned about George Soros? As DiscoverTheNetworks so aptly describes him, “George Soros is one of the most politically powerful individuals on earth…playing a key role in toppling regimes that had held the reins of government for years, even decades. (…) Soros today affects American politics and culture more profoundly that any other living person.” That such an individual would be allowed to game our political system for his own agenda is anathema and must be stopped.

We call on Darrell Issa and his House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to undertake a ruthless investigation of the IRS and determine why it is that they are not doing their appointed duty investigating political groups to ensure that they do not receive 501(c)(4) status, or if they have already slipped in under the cover of darkness like Soros’ APT, that their privileges be revoked.
